Australia Santa Gertrudis Releases New Selection Indexes

Three new selection indexes for the Santa Gertrudis Breeders’ (Australia) Association have been released in conjunction with the June (2) 2024 Santa Gertrudis BREEDPLAN analysis. The new indexes are the:

  • Breeding Production Index

  • Fertility Plus Index

  • Terminal Index

The three new selection indexes will replace the previous Australian Santa Gertrudis selection indexes and were developed by the Santa Gertrudis Breeders’ (Australia) Association in conjunction with staff from BREEDPLAN.
