About the Role

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Manager Corporate Services to join our Corporate Services Team. Reporting to the Manager Director, the Manager of Corporate Services will play a key role in maintaining smooth operations and supporting a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Governance Advice & Board Secretariat:

    Provide advice and support on governance issues to the Managing Director and Board including development and distribution of agendas and supporting documents, minute taking and distribution of minutes. Following up actions from Board meetings to ensure completion.

  • Corporate Services Management:

    Ensure up to date knowledge and understanding of industrial relations, payroll and other human resources requirements. Oversee accounting and finance, external providers, general administration, and facilities of ABRI. Develop and implement operational policy and procedure; and ensure regular regulatory and compliance tasks and activities are completed on time.

  • Team Leadership:

    Act as the first point of contact for staff of the Corporate Services team for management issues.  Oversee workload and division of duties for the Corporate Services team and ensure coverage of duties during periods of staff leave.  Liaise with executive, management and other team leaders as required.

About You

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of legal and regulatory requirements in relation to finance, human resources, facilities management, workplace health and safety.

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting a Board of Directors including all aspects of secretariat.

  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal and people management skills, including the ability to negotiate, influence and consult with compassion and understanding.
