About the Role

We are seeking a Breed Secretariat Registrar to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality secretariat services to breed associations, ensuring the efficient management of databases, member details, animal registrations, and event documentation.

You’ll work closely with breed associations, ABRI staff and stakeholders to provide exceptional administrative support and member services.

Key Responsibilities

Membership Management:

  • Process new member applications, approvals, renewals, and updates to member details.

  • Deliver efficient and professional member services.

Database Administration:

  • Process registrations, transfers, and service details in ILR2

  • Perform general database maintenance and animal inventory processing.

Event Support:

  • Create and update Shed Cards and Sale Catalogues as required.

  • Liaise with show societies regarding animal registration statuses.

General Administration:

  • Handle general enquiries from members and stakeholders.

  • Process invoicing for animal inventories.

About You

  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office, accounting software packages and database management programs- experience in using ILR2 is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge or interest in the livestock/agriculture industry would be beneficial.
